Default Turbo Engine Build Help

Thinking of buying another engine and tranny for my car, I want to build up a high quality low cost turbo engine. What parts and what should I do to make a good reliable turbo engine and tranny?

I have 2 grand invested in support mods like suspension alone. A good, quality build is going to consist of forged rods (~$1000) forged pistons (~$500) a treated crankshaft, full valvetrain upgrade, ported and polished head, and that's just to begin on the engine internals. The various needs will nickel and dime up the price in no time. Then you have the turbo! A quality turbo is going to cost, cheap chinese and ebay knock offs will not result in a reliable product. Plus you'll need piping, intercooler, AirRAM, exhaust (to and from), fuel..... Wow. "Low cost" and "turbo" are not synonymous terms.
