The weather is pretty awful today but I got out to do some testing before the rain hit and as expected the meth keeps intake temps at bay, im not sure what they are in Celcius but without injection I would hover around 128-131*F and once I start injecting they are around 100*F. This was with the nozzle located by the outlet of the intercooler so I moved it back up by the TB hoping that the hot air wont have as much affect on it.
The only quick thing I can do is move my from license plate to the side because it blocks a large part of the intercooler core. I kind of figure that it affecting a larger surface area than what it actually covers, I know this is a wall but imagine if you will that it is turned upside down, it represents my license plate.

I also did some work to the launch control/flat shift. I was using the OEM clutch pedal switch which is a normally open switch located at the bottom of pedal travel, this didnt work well for me due to my clutch releasing within the first 2" of pedal. I bought a door jam normally closed switch and placed it where the cruise control switch is, so as soon as I push the clutch a little it completes the circuit and the launch/flat shift is activated. With the OEM switch the engine had time to rev before the clutch would actually engage which made using the function very very difficult. Now all is well.

Today was filled with dirty work, engine and trans out, trans disassembled then reassembled, engine and trans back in. Total working time 6hrs 37min. Checked the diff clearance again and it is still within spec so I swapped the output shaft as a unit and bolted everything back together.
Here are some photos from start to just before buttoning up the trans.

Tomorrow = track day.
Regardless of performance there will be video and timeslips (as long as the crappy dot matrix printer they have decides to work)
