Tibminn Feb 27, 2005 07:14 PM

not sure, but i think its for the beta II. it says 03-05 tib 2.0 which is beta II, but were the '01 elantras?

hamhead Feb 27, 2005 07:15 PM

01-05 Elantras had Beta IIs I thought... actually its not very pricey since it comes intercooled and with a remapped ECU.

good question

Yeah remapped ECU?!?! Did you read what else they said. You have to disable you MAF and install the MAP they provide. How would you get around that if your ECU is looking for MAF signals and get lambasted with MAP signals. I dunno maybe there is more to it. That manifold could use a collector though, looks like a clusterf**k when it reaches the turbine.

In my opinion, not a good buy. They don't even state the turbine size, intercooler size, charge piping size, or type of blow-off valve. Not to mention they do not mention the manufacturer of any of them except the turbine, and even Garrett is pretty vague.

Tibminn Feb 27, 2005 07:38 PM

the remapped ecu is probably map based since its from them

silvertibbs Feb 27, 2005 07:42 PM

okay then it's totally worth it then. no.gif

Plan and simple buy a Turbo Kit from Tim(Speed-Factor) he'll take he's time and get it to you right and if u have and Q&A's about it you just come to us we know more about that setup than that crap at SR

hamhead Feb 27, 2005 08:07 PM

I haven't heard of a single problem about SR since the olden days of HP... people that ordered their lambo door kits, etc. had no complaints. I personally might try their 4-1 header.
