ok guys i'm fixing to turbo my tibby. and i just have a few ?'s. i got the alpine developement head spacer, a GT28 63 ex/60com, 440cc injectors, a gst fuel pump.

what is the best fuel management for our cars and will a safc-2 get me by for now?

what would be about the most psi i could run safely?

and what kind of hp range should i be looking at?

1. No, get an SMT6 or talk with JonGTR, he was organizing a GB on a Perfect Power Standalone system.

2. Depends on the tune of the SMT6/Standalone, we had a member on here go with 17psi on stock rods/pistons. With those injectors you should be able to provide adequate fuel for a mid to high psi range, but you'll need a slightly larger pump to create more pressure, and an aftermarket fuel regulator to control it.

3. The majority believe that at around 350whp stock components start to break (connecting rods, pistons, heads) you should be able to get around the 200whp range with what you have and what I suggested in #2, as long as you use an intercooler.

Hope that helps somewhat. You seem to have a good idea of what you want. Take a look at the HP goals you want to see and let us know. They're are a lot of guys on here that are more knowledgable than I am, that are here to help you.

LOL

Yeah man, the SAFC is really a poor idea for a turbo. It used to be the first thing folks would go to, but now we know better.

SMT6, or otherwise.

The group buy on the PRS4 is already going through for $675. It normally costs $850 or so.

It's a full standalone which you should be able to wire up yourself. I'm done messing with the piggyback setups. Especially when this standalone costs the same price. It also has features on it you could never get with a piggyback, such as nitrous and fan control.

^^^People are making over 210hp with only 10psi. You might wanna check up on your tuning. You're pretty close to sea level too right?

Where did you get the camshaft? What are the specs? How much?
