i did and it says it saves 2 settings but it doesnt say whether you can change between those settings with a flip of a switch or if you need to the laptop to do it

I honestly don't think there is a switch. You will need a laptop to do it.

Yeah, I don't think there is a switch. Either way, get a cheap laptop and keep it under the driver seat...

ummmm.. i dont think thats the greatest idea..
but yea that sucks, i guess thats the only disadvantage i see in the SMT so far

I'm not sure what kind of connection it uses but you may be able to find an adapter for a PDA and then hopefully you could get a palm or windows ce version of the tuning software. Anyways it would be something to look into.

It uses a serial port, at least mine does. I'm not sure if the software will run on windows CE.

the smt-6 can switch from one map to the other with a switch.. trust me..i've did it a few times smile.gif
it's only an extra wire (already in the harness) to hook up to a 0.50$ switch ;-)

it can be switched via the soft ware and via the switch
