What are ramhorn turbo manifolds? I read through this site to learn more and I didn’t see it listed anywhere

This is like a Ramhorn, only diffrence is My 3rd exhaust port has been routed up, rather than around, it would have been really close to the Radiator hose.



Just an idea of what it would or does look like on a RD.

 

This is a classic Ram Horn turbo manifold.



In a nut shell, a Ram Horn manifold is to have equal (or almost equal) length runners for each exhaust port so that the gases from each port can travel throughout the runners reach the turbine wheel independently from one another. Having long individual runners for each exhaust port will help pull the exhaust gases away from the exhaust ports after the combustion, so that the exhaust gas from each exhaust ports won't interfere with one another (like in a log style manifold) and possibly create high back pressure or blow backs in some cases.

 

There is also the semi-ram horn that looks like this. Twist is to clear the crank sensor.
