Seems like a nice little build. I'm surprised that you have not done any fuel trim tuning to the car at all. I'm guessing you will be in the near future. Nice little build there.

Nice build. Throw some 1.8 pistons in that to bump the compression and then it will be complete. Any Dyno #s??

wow great build, I wan see dyno #s smile.gif why would u put the 1.8 pistons on the 2.0 that will only lower the compression, if its na build the compression should go up, and run on race fuel.

tony, if you use the 1.8 pistons and the 2.0 con rods it will raise the compression because the 1.8 piston have a higher dome than the 2.0. now, if you use the 1.8 pistons and con rods it will lower the compression because the con rod is shorter and it wont reach all the way up like the 2.0 piston and rod would.

hope that clears any doubt.

Write now I have problems with the compresion.
Because Im usin the Engine of my other Tiburon Turbo
and I don't change the piston rings.
I chek the compresion with my friend AlphaX3(UTI)
we use a 300psi Compresion Gaugue
the compresion was in:
Cilinder 1 = 225
Cilinder 2 = 250
Cilinder 3 = 250
Cilinder 4 = 260
I know is bad for the engine in that low compresion in the cilinder 1
But Im looking for 1.8L Pistons in 83mm Oversize
To due the Complete Block .40

I have problems with the Air and Fuel
in idle is to Rich in Fuel
in medium revs is too lean

Im triying to set the Air and Fuel

I let you know more Today because im going to set the cams

this is a very nice build by a very meticulous guy.

like he said when we cheked the compresion cylinder one was low, we thre a little oil in the cylinder and recheked the compresion and it went up to 250 which leads us to think the rings might be on there way out. that short block saw some boost and wasnt rebuilt before instalation for this build.

but for right know idle is a big problem. the combination of airram and cams and lack of programable ecu is not very good. a standalone or even a piggyback is needed quick

Normally the tib has 210 compression but your's seems to have higher compression. Whatever the reason you are right that the first cylinder shouldn't be that much lower than the rest.
