boostedtib,
it looks like you had that little brace put on (between the turbo flange and the collector) but didn't really help in the end, eh?
which bolt holes did you exactly have to drill out and how big did you evetually go?
was it an internal wastegate on your setup?
so, is there really no way that an internal wastegate actuator would fit?... i just thought that with this type of manifold, the turbo will sit low enough for the internal wastegate actuator miss hitting the coolant tube/pipe attached in front of the block sad.gif
anyways, homey.. since you already have it get the welds reinforced good before installing it in

it sits too close to the block to install an internal wastegate... so your going to have to change all that... so id say expert

jay-m, that brace was added to the design just after they started being produced to help with the cracking. apparently it didnt do much.
renante had a gt28 internally gated turbo with this manifold and it fit up fine and did not touch the block.

nope, he had a spacer machined to do it trust me, i have t3 super 60 on one and it didnt fit, i spent almost 500 bux on parts for turbo kits that i have no use for and i had to eat that cost because of this

i know that was supadupa. not quite sure about renante. i know you would have to get a diff. flange for a gt28, so maybe it was angled or something. now that im looking at how big the spacer was on his though it does have me wondering...
ill get renante in here to confirm.
going back looking through some posts tibminn had an internally gated turbo as well with the manifold and was able to clock it so that it did fit.
