Your ecu, is to the left of your clutch pedal. up under the dash.
so then i will hook the msd into the ecu then?
the ecu takes place of what the powertrain control module would be on other cars right? what will i be looking for to find the trigger 1, trigger 2 and ign 12 volt so i can install the msd box?
also what wires from the coil are the ch1, ch2 and coil+ ?
when i looked at the coil, it has a connector on it. the wires on the male side are white, green and brown. then on the female side are black/white, red and white.
the install instructions from msd are saying that i need to splice into the coil and the coil harness. i am following the instructions from the digital dis-2

not fully sure yet, as I did not dyno it, this is just set for low boost at 9psi right now, the MSD install is not complete, cause we're waiting on the tach adapter to arrive... plus tonight we just found out that the entire problem of my car shutting off was being produced by the stupid o2 sensor, it was rubbing against the frame and the wires got stripped and many cut... we took it off, just to try it disconnected the s-afc, and the car is running and idling perfect... I need to order an o2 prolly just go ahead and changed both at the same time, and then the car will be tuned to about 15psi... or whatever seems possible with the SAFC and MSD...

No MIKE, a car can be tuned without a dyno just for your info...

One thing man, don't ever doubt my words, if I say it's tuned than it's tuned, I think I've made a true name of myself for others out there to trust me if I claim something, do not treat me as a newbie Thank you...

And for your info, the shop that is doing the tuning, and this is because they are very interested of what a tiburon could do, contact them directly:

They are 1 of the top companies in all of south florida with South Florida Performance being second... they street tune a car, and I'm gonna trust them, if the engine blows oh well let it blow I don't give anymore at this point... I want to see what it's capable off, and don't worry I will have dyno numbers, once it's complete...

Sorry man, just tired of a little of your sarcasm, and yes I heard about some of it from Nikki...

Thanks

Man, I dont care if Red came in here and said he has 400whp. I 'd still wanna see a dyno. I dont trust sh*t any more.

Heh, what you think I am stupid, I know how nikki is. I know what I said, somewhat. And I am sure its nothing I would not say to your face.

whatever bro.

Its like, you trust these guys who know nothing about hyindais. some of whom I have talked to. And you have asked us about some problems and dont take our advice and take a shop who knows nothing about hyundais.

Anyway, you are right. I know how you feel you are in a stressful time. It gets that way at certain points with cars. I am sorry. I will try to support you better.

Hey if I did not care, I would not have taken my personal time to call the shop and help them wire sh*t. call, LD I might add.

Yes, you can tune a car without a dyno, not well thou. And I thought you said you wanted sh*t done right.

Anyway, good luck. I am curious to see how well those hyper-u hold out.

Also, engine blowing aint so bad, they been going on ebay for $200-$300, you can pick up one of them.

well you shouldn't have even asked for a dyno, if you know me, then you know I WOULD NOT POST #'s until I had one... all I said was the car is putting down 9psi out of the shop, and I didn't claim dyno #'s, once I do you can ask for whatever freaking paper you want...

Yes they might not know a HYUNDAI but they do know TUNING, tuning an SAFC and an MSD is universal, there is no difference, yes installing maybe... but whatever bro... they are interested in working on a HYUNDAI and when a big company like them request to be given a chance I will, because it could only help future customers of theirs that have hyundais, and at least gain some respect from them...

And back on topic, I will post pics once the tach adapter is connected and I will let you know a little of what it was tuned to

You know you may wanna look into a greedy
e-manage, they only run about $400 and can do the job of an SAFC and MSD only much better.
