Hey everybody! my name is Igor, am from Europe (a small country, called Slovenia) and own a 1996 Hyundai Accent. Inside I put a 2.0 beta from 1997 Tiburon, and now have it supercharged with Eaton M62.

I also just got my Megasquirt I, v.3.57 PCB, with 029v code installed, and am going to control fuel and spark with it, and let the rest to the stock ECU to control.
I got this from DIYautotune.com:
1. MS1357-C Assembled Megasquirt-I with V3.57 PCB
2. MOD_x357-VR_IN: Jumper unit for VR Ignition Input
3. MOD_1357IGBT2: Dual Ignition Outputs through IGBT's (VB921)

ignition system is 60-2 trigger wheel, wasted spark, dual coil setup.
so, now I would need msq file, from somebody that is using MS-1 on 2.0 beta1 engine, and has it boosted.(i'm boosting it up to 10psi) My setup also includes 440cc/min injectors, and 255lph Walbro, so the Megasquirt map should be from someone with similar configuration.
I already got the megasquirt file from a very kind guy here on rdtiburon.com (time to thank you here too, Funkypc!), so I have the basic settings and values to get it started.

Can anyone help me?

The megasquirt is pretty rare on here for now. FunkyPC is one of the few active members with it. There was someone before who had it tuned pretty well but he's pretty much gone now (t4turbotiburon?). Tibby01 is planning to do it, but as of now I don't believe he has anything set up.
Hopefully if you and a few other people start using them and are willing to help others, it will become much more popular. I know I'd love to do it, but don't quite have all the knowledge on how do do it yet.
It will be worth the work, so don't give up!!

Hi, Igor... I dont know of hand who has a tuning map ready for (or even close to) your setup. You are one of megasquirt pioneers (that I know of) on this site, so you have to start at the very basic of this tuning proces

All I can add is that you get your startup/cranking and warm up maps roughed in and visit the dyno for the VE table map

good luck!!!

Hey man, hope you can figure out the MSQ. You'll have to change a few things on mine, but it should help you get started with a lot of the base settings.

and guys, just wait untill you see his setup!!!!! bigeyes.gif hail.gif hail.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Really, I wish I could post pics, but I'll leave that for him... nana.gif

UPDATE:

The car IS ALIVE!!!!!!! YESSS!!!! it's running!!!! well it's IDLING, and not so good really, but still, it's WORKING!!
I'm overwhelmed, I'm speachless...HAPPY in one word.

I was cranking it up for good 3 minutes and was SO dissapoinetd, and then it coughed and FINALLY started!!
The idle is rough, the rpms go up and down, from 1200-1500rpm. I dont have a IAC valve or F-IDLE installed, my idle depends on leakage of the throttle body.
One guy on msextra.com said that the AFR is too lean, but i can smell a lot of gasoline. maybe that's because of cranking it for 3 minutes...

here's my LOG file, if somebody can tell what's going on. I dont have a wideband yet, i'm using stock narrowband oxygen sensor.

and this is the .msq file from FunkyPC who helped me alot with my installation.

so, if anybody can tell me if the data is okay, or if there's something wrong, PLEASE!!
Igor

if you are using my MSQ with 440CC injectors then you will be running pig rich. Lower your Req_fuel value to lean out the entire map. You will also have to play with the cranking pulse widths so you car will start quickly and reliably.
Glad you got it running! - and nice setup wink1.gif

I tried downloading your log, but it wont work for me - not available in my country or something. You can email it to me if you want me to take a look at it.
