Very Nice Info especially for people doing a stand alone ECM another option I don't see alot of people on here mentioning is Megasquirt it is a Standalone that you build yourself and has some great tuning software it is very cheap alot more than any other company anywhere if anyone is interested here are some web sites:

http://www.glensgarage.com/

http://www.rs-autosport.com/

Also this is the main website that explains everything Megasquirt can do.

yea sorry about the bad writing but I don't claim to be a expert in correct grammar ,but yea Megasquirt is hands down the best standalone ecu I have seen. It is a bit overwhelming to understand at first but with patience you can learn to use it and you will never go to a different standalone or at least find one as cheap and effective as Megasquirt.

YES megasquirt is an awesome unit. I am in the works of using it now trying to understand how to set everything up and install. I will probley be the first again to have new info on this. For the money 350$ you can have a full standalone thats great news most piggybacks run 300 or more. Anywya i will do a writeup on this within the next 3-4 weeks.

Yea sounds good I think I understand how to do a good basemap but as far as fine tuning I will probably go with the wideband O2 and just get everything running like I want it.
