hi, i´m to put a turbo in my car.... I need the low compression gasket for the motor....

where can i buy?

other question....what sparks will i need when I have installed the turbo? now i have IX IRIDIUM SPARKS

low compression gasket or decompression plate is not a very good way to lower compression ratio although it may run good on low boost levels.
the best way is to install low compression pistons.

you can find them on:
www.kspec.com
www.rpw.com.au

what boost pressure are you gonna run?

now...about 7-8 PSI....i have a little t3 turbo because is the cheapest.

low compression piston for my 1.6 engine i think dont exist....if someone know where can i get it i´m pleased.

and about the sparks what do you think? what sparks will i need?

the kspec gasket is good? i think that will be i buy

Dmitry Nov 24, 2005 05:51 AM

i don't know if it will fit your 1.6

is says:

we really dont know to much about the 1.6 beta, so i dont know about what pistons would work.

as long as its still a "beta" though, im sure the decompression plate from alpine developments would work. someone was selling one a long time ago either here or at www.hyundaiperformance.com. you might want to do some searching through the for sale forums for it.

yeah i think 2uniq has been selling one for years so look for that

fastuning Nov 24, 2005 10:05 AM

and about the sparks? what do you recomended to me?

Dmitry Nov 24, 2005 10:29 AM

use one step colder spark plugs.

If stock is NGK BKR5ES, use BKR6ES

but I don't know what gap should be there.

That would be a difficult search...... Good Luck man.. I will try to search too.....

I found UK site, they make copper decompression plates and copper head gaskets, they may help you, contact them.
