Hks Ssqv Bov

i heard they were bad for your car unless you get the recirculating system. does anyone know about this. i bought a cheap ebay knock off and it fell apart on me. never will I do that again. so now im on the hunt for a good quality BOV, so if anyone has any good recomendations, let me know. Im only pushing 8 psi for now until I can get it tuned a little better.

TIAL 50MM Sickest Bov ever created, Yea it is Spendy, But it is worth it, nice crisp sound, loud if you like the noise, but operation is spectacular, even at partial boost the thing gives off one nice pttsssssss... there is not pts.ss..sss.sss.sss (fluttering) which shortens the life of the turbo, and to me sounds a little to FAST AND FURIOUS...

Check it out!

i traded my used ssqv for a brand new tial

he even gave me $20 bux in gas money

if your still running a maf you have to recirc

Turboron_99 08-26-2010 11:21 AM

Or you can put the BOV BEFORE the maf and the car will never even know that air was ever there!

faithofadragon 08-26-2010 11:44 AM

which means you would have to boost the maf....we use the FIC so it doesnt matter to us

it all depends on the setup

I am running the Tial Bov and a Maf, Yet, to have any problems, but i think it is because of the Fic, and the options for Clamping voltage.

I'm running a atmosphere SSQV with a boosted MAF, not a problem one.

If you don't want a HKS i'd go with a Greddy RZ. More reasonably priced then the tial
