This is the manual boost controller I have (didnt come with instructions)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLU-TURBO-B...sspagenameZWDVW

I have a T3 super 60 with an internal waste gate. I can hook an air compressor to the waste gate and it opens around 13 psi or so. I can't figure out how to hook up that boost controller so that I am making 9.5psi to my manifold. Does anyone have a boost controller like that? How do I control my boost?

Shitty eBay boost controllers never work, and I have never seen one like that. Get a turboxd manual boost controller, they are easy to adjust and fine tune.

looks like there's only one way it could work... that valve adjusts the pressure. Open the valve, you get more pressure to the turbo, close it, you get less... not my idea of a good controller.

Hmm seems like im the only one who caught that his wastegate spring opens at 13psi and he wants to use the manual boost controller to make it open at 9.5 pounds.

Not gonna happen bro, the only thing boost controllers can do is raise the boost from what the wastegate is set at

IF you want a lower boost than what the wastegate allows, you need to get a spring designed to open less, i recomend 5psi, and you can adjust as high as you want over 5 pounds

It's possible to change the spring inside the waste gate? If i could get the gate to open sooner, then yes i could just use it to bleed off pressure to the waste gate. Drivingtibnaked, how would opening a valve give you more pressure to the turbo? I do not understand your post at all lol. But can someone tell me if its possible to adjust/change the spring in a t3/super60?

Good pick up Alex, I was just going to reply saying that.

Boost controllers only control past what the waste gate spring is rated at meaning you can keep the wastegate closed and create more boost. Not the other way around.

additionally it sounds like you have an internal wastegate turbo?

this is why it helps to list your mods whenever you have a technical problem

I believe if you adjust the rod on the actuator it will change the boost.

EDIT: nvm, i didnt post pic in this thread, i posted em in the last thread... lol

just adjust the rod and it should change the boost.. do some tests with air compressor to see before you go pushing 12psi all around town, lol.

Am i adjusting the silver narrow part of the rod, or the black fitting that has the hole in it?
