well i have been trying to find a piggy back ecu to control my fuel, and i came a crossed this ecu piggy back called the MAP-ECU that learns from your stock ecu and stores it. so you can actually get rid of your MAF and a bunch of other stuff too. well here they can explain better. here is the web site http://www.powerhouseracing.com/mapecu.shtml

Seems like a nice product, but, $895 for just fuel control seems a bit pricey. If it were to control ignition timing as well, that may be another story, but it is still very expensive. The one thing I see is that it would allow you to run over the maf limit because you should be able to set, say, 20 psi at 5 Volts, therefore eliminating the high maf output. You would want to set the highest voltage as your highest pressure, though, to get the best resolution and tuning capabilities.

well now, this thing is pretty cool, to bad it cost so much. all you would have to do is add an msd but then you could afford a stand alone, but... you have to do all that wiring and configuring and find a base map... this thing learns the stock map and then you can tune it.

i guess at that price, you pay for the ease of tuning your car. i hope someone gets this thing and tries it out.

if i would have seen this a few months ago, i definately would have tried it.

it does everything a stand alone does, basically. you can program it for nitrous shots, monitor live runs, run bigger injectors... its a really cool device and your car will run as good as it did when it was stock.

well that just made a lot of people lives a lot better.

I know.. only Beer and umm. Beer.. But REDZ always has some comment about some product, so I would love to hear wether this gets a "pack of corona" .. or "a new poopshoot".

I think it, it sounds like a good product.. but not for that price as Drafter, and yourself(Littlejohn) had mentioned.
