Ground Wire system?

Spotted this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...7949891449&rd=1

my question is, is this another useless mod or will it actually help? And what exactly is the purpose of it? Where does it mount to? Anyone have one of these installed?

It help.... specially if you have a complete audio system in your car....

Do it.... it's very cheap, makes the engine bay a little more pritty and the best part is that it really helps...

I would avoid that particualar system. I had one on my car.. the add on lead for the battery ground came loose internally and started to disconnect my battery from the electrical circut. I eventually would up mounting the "circle" part on the old filterbox intake and then running a cable from that to the stock ground on the battery.

Oh, I see. Alright this is something I'll have to do once I get my system. Thanks

Don't get that one girl, it comes loose easily and is very cheap.

Just follow the "BIG 3 WIRE UPGRADE" in the DIY section. It's cheaper, more specific, and depending on the place you go to, you can get better coloured/looking wire.

I bought a wire kit similar to that. I got rid of the round piece and put all the wires on one bolt on the negative terminal.

You can see them in my car domain pics.

The kit that I had the round piece didn't come loose, but my hood would touch it and it weighed like 1/4 pound, so I lost it. I thought it was ugly anyway.

This is the one I got

I still have the stock grounding hooked up to. I figured the more the merrier and it will follow the path of least resistance.

Hope this helps ya Chick........

I think that was the big problem, mine was touching the hood as well.
