Re: ARK SPEED RACING Discussion/Concerns

wouldn't spraying it hurt the efficiency?? just one more layer the heat has to go through.... :?:

Re: WARNING: Electric Superchargers, Spiralmax, Tornado etc.

yes painting intercoolers is generally frowned on. but some people go for looks over efficentcy and if it is still efficent enough, it doesnt matter

Paint thinner works really well inside intercoolers too

Re: couple intercooler questions

I doubt it would hurt the performance that much. I'm not going for the looks, if I wanted to show off I'd have cut the whole in my front bumper and put a huge silver shiny intercooler there, but Im trying to stay as low as possible and keep my car a total sleeper smile.gif so black intercooler is a must smile.gif

Re: 315cc injectors

why do people think painting stuff makes em a sleeper?

my understanding of the word "sleeper" in this case ... means to have lots of power however no visible indications of how you are making it.

heck even the twit at autozone could see my FMIC *and i will take apic to show you how well it is hidden* and if they look under the hood... cant really hide a turbo too well tongue.gif

just accept you have a booosted car and be proud of it man! tongue.gif but that is just me!

Game on!

I'm not painting for looks, I'm doing it so no one will see that it's an intercooler, or at least some people won't be able to see it.

rd has this opening in the front bumper which will let lots of air in, but at the same time it will hide the intecooler; and since my car is dark blue, a black intercooler will basically mold into the color of the body and shouldn't be that noticeble.

Who said that someone is going to look under my hood? No one is allowed there smile.gif and yes it will be a sleeper.... no loud exhaust, no BOV sound, no intercooler smile.gif what shows that I have power? but when I press the pedal I will be gone smile.gif

I will be proud of my car and knowing that people think that they just got beat by stock hyundai will make me even more proud smile.gif
