Ok, I figure that it would be cool to share this with everyone in the other forums..

This calculator is very simple, It only uses atmospheric pressure as a baseline so actual hp results may vary depending on many other factors, however this calculator is a great tool for getting a basic idea of your boost requirements..

You will need: 14.7 PSI to make 270 bhp

You will need a 138 lph Fuel Pump

A 4 cylinder engine will need 443 CC Injectors


so this means that Tim's boosted elantra that's running at 14psi has got about 270hp...wow. im not quite sure if the injectors part is quite accurate.

injector flow rate can vary with fuel pressure, however that figure is only using 80% duty cycle.. you can use smaller injectors but you will need more fuel pressure to make them flow properly.. or you can push them harder than 80% duty cycle and get away with smaller injectors, but then you risk damaging the injectors ....

As long as you have a reliable way of controlling fuel pressure, you can use bigger injectors and always have room to grow. smile.gif
