OK, so Ive been using the search feature (which is totally bogus) and read the general forms, power adder forms, arp sites and is getting a headache, I need REAL answers! arp studs torqing 5 times?wha?? I am reusing arp studs on an oem gasket, I read here up to 80 lbs, then 240 lbs?? tighten ,retighten?.. checked the service site and got this 22/26 lbs on oem bolts? .."Install the cylinder head bolts. Starting at top center, tighten all cylinder head bolts in sequence as shown in illustration, using the Cylinder Head Bolt Wrench (09221-11001). Repeat the procedure, retightening all cylinder head bolts to the specified torque.
Cylinder head bolt
When tightening the cylinder head bolt, using special tool and torque wrench, tighten the bolt to the specified torque (M10: 30 Nm, M12: 35Nm) and then turn the torque wrench 60テつー-65テつー and repeat it one more time as shown in illustration."

I just need the proper arp specs!!, are they the same for reusing used arp's? please ,someone just point me to where they are,and if anyone has opions on this please post!, thanks from mr frustrated!
I had a failpro gasket lol

It took longer to type up your original post than to call them. Just call! They have some minimum wage person waiting at a desk doing nothing b/c you didn't call! If you got them straight from ARP I'm surprised they didn't come with a spec sheet.

It should say on their website. If I remember when I get home I have the sheet that has them all on it. otherwise it might say in the sticky under extreme mods.

OK ,heres the lo down.

Part #AM 4.500-1LB (M10x1.25 Studs) =
Arp lube =60lbs
Ultratorque(ARP)=60lbs
30 weight oil(ie10w/30)=70 lbs

Part #AU 7.250-1LB (M12x1.25 Studs) =
Arp lube=80lbs
Ultratorque(ARP)=90lbs
30 weight oil(ie 10w30)=120lbs

The M12 should be tightened in 3 steps, ie : 90lbs =30/30/30 lbs,120lbs =40/40/40 lbs
If using 30 weight oil for either stud, It should be torqued and loosened and torqued again at least 3-4 times, to reduce the friction and be properly torqued., It is recommended by ARP to use theyre new ultratorque lube as it eliminates retorquing.

You didn't search enough because the torque specs are in the ARP STICKY! Odd huh? wink1.gif

The "motor oil specs" seem kinda high to me. I've used motor oil and didn't go that high. I did about 5lbs more. Holds just fine.

The ARP Lube is basically just engine assembly lube.
