Looks like many people have put turbo projects on hold are just are not doing it. At least with older Hyundais. Now it appears that if anyone wants to turbo their car, they will just sell it as N/A and buy a Genesis, Sonata Turbo, or Veloster Turbo. Anybody here keeping their cars and have a plan to turbo them this year?

I'm still planning to install the turbo setup on the Accent this season.

Picking up my projects again, 2013 will be a fun year. I'm still not going all in though, going to buy car #4 before the year is out, and I don't plan to finance.

The build/restore of my Isuzu Impulse starts March 2nd! Turbo, AWD and rare. Still keeping the Hyundai though.

Going to put an oil/water heat exchanger type oil filter adapter on and get rid of the air to oil cooler.

I don't know of any type of pvc that can handle that kind of heat. Even in the thicker schedule 40 pipe I don't think the pipe can handle any more than 160 f (not 100% on that it might be less). Cpvc pipe can handle heat up to 200 f.

Maybe I just need a better explanation of what your plan is??

Plastic fumes and carbon monoxide among other things. I'm going to be a coy piece of sh*t here, but I'm scouting around for a good intercooler at the moment.
