<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (javageek @ Sep 9 2008, 09:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Here is what I have come up with. I do not have an AEM F/IC so I cannot personally verify this is the correct setup. If your car burns up it is not my fault. /disclaimer

Crank Sensor
Intercept Pin 43 with CRK HAL0+ and CRK HAL1+

Cam Sensor
Intercept Pin 44 with CAM1HAL0+ and CAM1HAL1+

MAF Sensor
Intercept Pin 41 with MAF IN+ and MAF OUT+

Fuel Injectors
Injector 1
Intercept Pin 3 with INJ1 IN and INJ1 OUT
Injector 2
Intercept Pin 32 with INJ2 IN and INJ2 OUT
Injector 3
Intercept Pin 31 with INJ3 IN and INJ3 OUT
Injector 4
Intercept Pin 4 with INJ4 IN and INJ4 OUT

Narrow Band O2 Sensor
TAP Pin 12 with O21+

or

Wide Band O2 Sensor
TAP NERNST CELL wire from wideband sensor with O21+

+12 V DC Switched
Tap Pin 58 with IGN PWR = You need to verify this source is switchable, ie comes on when you turn the key otherwise your F/IC will be constantly powered.

TPS
TAP Pin 73 with TPS+

Grounds
TAP Pin 55 with 2 PWR GND wires
TAP Pin 71 with SIG GND

If you want to datalog you need to hook a switch to LOG IN and run it to ground, or you can tap it to Pin 55. Make sure you have a switch in series with the LOG IN wire.</div>

This is how I wired it.

without being there, i can't help anymore, cuz i have no clue if you actually wired it right, or might have made a mistake..

bassboy3313 Oct 14, 2008 08:14 PM

what i just posted is how i wired it. to intercept, i tied the wires together by hand then soldered them. to tap i used the plastic taps.

are any of the evo ecu's the same as the beta 1 ecu? if they are, couldnt i just use the plug and play harness for the evo on mine?

javageek Oct 14, 2008 08:37 PM

Please do us all a favor and take a picture of how you wired them. The way you are describing your intercept, it is wrong. And when I asked about your configuration I am talking about the configuration, not the wiring.

SOCKS_old Oct 14, 2008 08:42 PM

no plug n play harness's made will work. you would make a harness though.. would be a PITA, but much nicer than having to get under there to do the wiring.

i might have found one of the problems i am having. JBS_TIBURON said in his install thread that we have the MAG style crank sensor. I have the HALL crank sensor wire from the F/IC wired up not the MAG style wire. I will switch this and try it again tomorrow.

What do you mean by configuration?

SOCKS_old Oct 14, 2008 08:47 PM

well durhh.. betas use mag sensors don't they..

bassboy3313 Oct 14, 2008 08:52 PM

we will find out.

Hive Oct 15, 2008 02:16 AM

I think you have found the solution to your problem there. You should connect MAG style crank sensor.

David Dickson Oct 15, 2008 08:21 AM

My post on the 1st page says this "I'd say your going to have to use the Mag Crank style wiring so you can intercept CKP A & B signal wires." But no one listens to lil ol me anymore.. wink1.gif
