Default URGENT !!!!!!!!!! Aluminum Flywheels READ

This is Dan, didnt have time to log in under my name. I just got off the phone with Fidanza (dave in tech support at Fidanza) and it seems they have been selling a 5 spd flywheel marked as a 6 spd. I dont know where what went wrong but SPEC has them listed as a 6 spd only and we had them listed as a 6 spd only. both of our information came straight from fidanza. If you bought a flywheel from anyone for the most part, you may potentially have a problem. NIPPON POWER, SPEC, KORE, KEY motorsports and a ton of others all use Fidanza and SPEc units. SPEC is a major distributor for Fidanza components. I have talked to Dave today at Fidanza and he is getting a 5 spd clutch and flywheel along with an OE 6 spd flywheel and clutch for inspection and to determine what has to be changed. I am at a total loss as to what to say. Seems no matter where people make parts things dont seem to go smoothly.I know the 6 spd clutch should be correct as we provided the OE unit to SPEC for development.

thanks
dan

You'll know the difference... the V6 Flywheels are stepped and the I4's are not
