since for some people there may be such a thing as TOO short, could you put the stock lever on that short throw mechanism? looks like you could from the photos but I haven't seen one in person yet...

That's one stubby little shifter... reminds me of a Miata shifter.
I want one too... too bad I don't own a Tib... there are LOTS of Talons in the scrap heaps here.
I wonder what shifters will fit in my car???

Hmmm.. research time...

hold up you will need the entire assembly
the shifter by itself will not work without
modifications

and no our shifter will not fit the talon assembly

and if it is to short use the diffrent year thats not as short

How does it feel? I remember how sloppy my stock shifter was, and I love my B&M, it has a nice firm feel, quality materials. Is this one loose or sloppy at all?

I went and got one of these today for my Tib, and with a little bit of modification, it will work, however, I don't feel like modifying anything to make it fit. If someone wants to buy it from me, I'll sell it for 8 bucks plus shipping. PM me if interested.

no slop at all real tight but if you have a b&m i would not change
only mods i had to do were drill new bolt hole for mounting and cut an edge off
