false.
braided hose is like regular hose but has a protective stainless steel mesh covering the easy to damage and tear, crack, sundamage, element damage hose..
it lasts much longer than regular hose.
and holds up to elements better
yes but who cares about the OUTSIDE of a hose its the inside that matters
the inside stores the harsh corrosive chemicals
so explain how a stainless braid will prevent brake fluid from wearing the inside of the hose?
its like sayin your gonna paint the outside of a oak barrel full of acid to protect it from the elements...

i have yet to see a rubber brake fluid filled hose degrade from the INSIDE.. keep the fluid clean.. and you dont get decay from the inside.
it's the outside of the hoses that always cracks or breaks or leaks or gets soft due to elements.. heat cold.. road salt.. debris.. sand.. dirt.. abbrasives..
and how many times have you cut open a line to inspect it on the inside? hell if anything the braid will prevent you from inspecting the line at all

With the stainless braiding keeping the hose from flexing it does last longer than regular hoses by quite a bit. It'll still corrode from the outside but without the line swelling every time it gets pressurized the effects are slowed down.
