I have a 98 tiburon and i am really considering a SR short shifter. Something i was wondering though is what modifications do you have to do to the plate to get it to work right? I know that you have to do some cutting, but what exactly do you have to cut? I have searched and found out that you have to do the cutting, but nowhere have i found anything talking about what you need to cut. Any help would be very appreciated.

That's the SR one, OBX doesn't require cutting but isn't as short.
