Hey everyone, just wanna get opinions on shifting styles. Do you guys prefer to short shift or skip shift? And if anyone can give me info on this, which gives better fuel economy?

I skip second. But that's because I don't have a functioning second gear.
IMO you aren't going to gain enough economy to matter by changing shift points or style.

Owner's manual says that best fuel economy is obtained by shifting up at 2500 rpm.
Skipping gears is going to return worse fuel economy because you are either revving too high in the lower gear, or too low in the higher gear, thusly returning horrible Brake Specific Fuel Consumption.
If you have an 18 speed non-synchro gearbox, skipping a few gears is fine. In a 6 speed synchronised manual, toughen up princess.
