what would it require to drop a shiftronic controller into my 2k... i mean all the knob is doing is telling the tranny controller to hold the gear... and i dont think its a new tranny... so what would i need

the shifter i guess and maybe a new TCU?

i jus want a lil more control over the shifts and i dont wanna convert 2 manual jus yet

 

you do want a manual you just don't know it.

call the folks at level ten for what you want, they are most likely to have the kit if anyone will.

PTS TORQUE CONVERTOR SERVICE 498.00 Should be a fairly decent mod, should help a N/A tons and just general driving around. But I wanna stress, this will not help your in anyway under a boosted sitaution. NAAAWWWZZ should not be so bad considering its a once in awhile use. Just make sure you get anice big tranny cooler to keep thing cold. AT Fluid temp guage maybe be a good idea. I had one...once smile.gif

My first thought is, this is just gonna kill the tranny. They just add the option to shift gears, in a handy dany package. But will the tranny handle?

I do not think so. I think you can end up wearing out your tranny. They did not make this tranny for intento of agressive shifting. They made it for leisure shifting by the tcm. And it cna barely handle that.

Cars made from the factory with shiftronics have rienforced parts to handle agressive shifts.
