I have a 98 tiburon with an auto tranny and the 2.0 engine. Is it normal for the car to be at 3500 rpm's doing 65 down the highway while in overdrive?! I'm just curious because I was driving around with a friend and he was kind of shocked by it but he has a Truck with a v6 and his tach only goes up to 6000

 

that sounds high...w/ my auto i was at 3200 when i was at 70-ish
