I have an 01 tiburon 5 speed. My transmission has a lot of play when rotated forward and backward on the input shaft. I called hyundai for a rebuild kit they didnt have one and a new tranny with the dealer discount is 2k. does anyone know of a place that can rebuild my tranny, every where I call says they dont have the kit to do a complete rebuild hyundai has this on lock down and hyundai wont even rebuild it. if anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I have a xtd lightened flywheel and stage 3 clutch waiting to be installed also new throw out bearing also new A arms and half shafts. or if anyone knows of a aftermarket tranny i would be interested there has to be something developed from all of hyundais rally business. Im doing all of this becaus my car has 129k on it and i want it freshened up. I also have a short shifter, 4 to 1 header with no cats , cai , chip , and cross drilled and slotted brakes front and back have to be able to stop right lol. Thanks for the input guys and gals
