To your knowlege would it be possible for the drive-train of the 03 santa fe to be installed onto the 03 tiburon?

Yes, it's possible. Area 51 fabrications did an 4WD 03 Tibby with the drivetrain of the Santa Fe.

They were thinking of selling conversion "kits", but the cost was so high, they only made the one.

You also need to remember. the 4wd is avilable only in the AUTO.


So not only will you be slowed by the 4wd drive compoents, you will incure a another loss with the automatic.


In that repsect an accent could probably run you down.

so your saying its not possible to have the drive-train and yet have the manual? If i were to get the kit i would not worry about the power decrease to the wheels for i am not the type to be interested in cruising in stright highway lines. I am the type that loves to hug and feel the curves.

i never said i liked the auto. according to random they did a trail with the awd and it was so costly they decided not to do it. Are there any other companies out there that may develop the awd kit?
