Question for cost of manual tranny
I may have located a Manual tranny that comes with clutch, pressure plate and cables as well as the axles for $350
#1 is this all I need with the exception of the shifter and panel to do a manual swap?
#2 hows the price look?

that's pretty damn cheap. i paid 550 for the tranny alone. um, there are A LOT of things you need for the swap. clutch pedal, pedal bracket, shifter, shifter plate, about 50,000 nuts and bolts, and springs, slave and master cylinders for clutch, starter (although shadohh and i don't know the diff between the two), flywheel, tranny mounts, shift cables, A DREMEL WITH THE FIBERBLASS CUTTING BITS. i would just cut the brake pedal instead of actually replacing it, as that just creats a lot more work. i just cut the brake pedal to fit the manual pad. MAKE SURE THE TRANNY HAS THE MOUNTING BRACKETS ON IT. i had to overnight them from my local dealership because the brackets on the auto are different than the ones on the manual. i'm talking about the brackets that mount the tranny to the chassis. if i can find my invoices, i can scan them and email them to you. i got all of my parts from www.magauto.com they have "wholesale" prices. they're about 15% less than the dealership. you'll have to call them to order though, as their online system doesn't have all of the little parts in it. i basically spent all of my time on the hyundai site getting part numbers, and then i called them and gave them the part numbers. you don't need the manual radiator, as i thought (and bought one).
