Default New Fidanza Fitment Info.!!!!

Hey guys, most of us here had a big discussion about Fidanza Flywheel fitment on Tibs back in October and recently Cisco installed one on his 97. I spoke with a representative from Ptuning.com and we worked out all the details as far as what will work with what. I forwarded him the whole thread back from Oct. and he spoke with Fidanza themselves for fitment.
If you aren't sure about what fits this is it

All 1.8/2.0 from 1997-1999 BEFORE July 7th 1999 use part # 193241

All 2.0 from 1997-2003 INCLUDING AND AFTER July 7th use part # 193141

I was also told by Ptuning.com that they will soon be receiving and carrying 2003 GT V6 flywheels from Fidanza by next week.

Both Flywheels for the 1.8 and 2.0 are $349.95 with free shipping from Performance Tuning If you order from this site, place a "PT" infront of the P/N in the search box.

Now we know what fits, go order one!!! I just ordered mine and thanks Cisco C. for your help! Enjoy!!

Hey man... you know you can get it cheaper through KORE?

Also... i think your info is incorrect...

Me and random have access to both a BETA II and a BETA I AND a fidanza flywheel

According to your info... if it fits the BETA II it MUST fit the BETA I

Thats not totally true

My beta II (post 99 crankshaft) will NOT fit the beta I

The BETA I how ever will fit the beta II WITH a spacer....

Just letting you know

Well, i'm not sure what you mean by "if it fits the BETA II it must fit the BETA I."

I specifically informed Ptuning about BETA I motors and did notice he included 2003 for fitment of the 193141 p/n however that must have been instruction given to him from Fidanza.

All i requested from him was what flywheel p/n's belong to which BETA I ONLY since there was a revision on July 7th 1999.

To be more specific i think the 193141 p/n should end at the 2002 model year and not 2003. Is that what your saying?

Oh btw, yeah i didn't realize it is cheaper through Kore but Ptuning does pricematching so it's all good.....Check my Flywheel Install $$ post.

Attention!

There is STILL no 2002 Tiburon!

Nope. Even Kelly's Blue Book doesn't recognize a 2002 Tiburon.

There is no such bastard.

Now, your local dealer may say it was one, or even put a sticker that said that on it, but nope.

KBB

Also, visiting HYUNDAI's WEBSITE, go to the BUILD YOUR OWN and you'll see there is no 2002 Tiburon...

Have a nice day!

Hmmm really no 2002? I thought the Tiburon Model years carried 3 years per gen. 97-99 1st gen, 00-02 2nd gen and 03-05?? 3rd gen....?

The front/rear end facia revisions weren't enacted till '00, the start of the 2nd gen. right?

oh well, who cares. go buy a flywheel. tongue.gif
