Default Flywheel Question

I just brought home a stage 1 Clutch Masters clutch.
I am planning on getting a lightened flywheel and my dealer mechanic has agreed to do this install for me.
Clutch Masters is working on one for the Tiburon but it is not ready yet....

Question,
Does anyone here have an aftermarket flywheel installed?
Where did you get it? Who makes it?
Where can I order it?
I don't want a lightened stock one I want a new one.
HDK has one, does anyone here have it with a stronger clutch?

Please let me know, my stock clutch died a long time ago and I need this work done ASAP.

Thank you fellow team members!

Sincerely,

Tony Montana

HDK one sucks ass and will last liek 6months.

Fidanza <sp?> has a flywheel for you at around $500.

I hear Fidnaza makes the best flywheels on the market, that ones got my vote smile.gif
and it available now, just call them up and ask them for it.

RPW also has high carbon lightweight flywheels.

Hey Random, when would that be posted in the website?

Ever heard of Unorthodox Racing clutches and flywheels? There are Stage 1 and Stage 1+ lutches for Elantras. Anyone know about this?

Hey Thanks for all the help.
I have checked into all the above manufacturers. Thanks for the links.
I am confused as to why the HDK flywheel is like hundreds of dollars less than anyone elses out there?
Shadohh, did you have one of them and destroyed it?
It seems too cheap? does anyone have it installed?
Thanks for the help again. I cant wait to have this work done (soon). The stock clutch in there now is just slipping all over the place.

Later!

I had bought the CM Stage 1 fx100 kit also and just had it installed recently during my tranny rebuild.. IT's AWESOME! It grabs soo hard, i chirped thrid! It's got excellent holding force but engages decently. ENJOY!

Rich,

Did you change your flywheel too? or resurface it?
Your car looks sweet!

Thanks
