Cold weather rev limiter
Can cold weather cause your rev limiter to be lower? I’ve heard stories that it can, but if its electronically controlled by the ecu, how is that possible?
I doubt that. How is this tested? Free revving while stopped or is this seen at full throttle shifts? Automatic or manual transmission?
I guess if it's really cold out and the car isn't up to proper operating temperature then the car might be cutting back on performance since its thinks it still in warm up mode.
