Ok, I just got back with the Tib with the CM FX100 Clutch installed. If I had to describe my experience with it up till now, and my initial reaction, it would have to be one word; "WOW." I never imagined just how crappy my old clutch was compared to this. No slipping, grabs immediately, but what definitely took me by surprise was the clutch pedal pressure. Its like there isn't even a clutch in the car. I definitely need to practice driving again, because I'm not use to it. But overall, if you are looking for a quality clutch, you can't go from with the CM FX100.

 

your right it was exactly 2 weeks to the day that you ordered that you got it.

unfortanate but sometimes they don't arrive as planned to us if we run out of stock. sorry.

i've just buy a new clutch for my accent, its an heavy duty but look like an original, ne wpressure palte,and clutch bearing...

next time should i go for another stage? 1-2-3?
and why?
i've some motor mod, but not terrific... i want to add catcam and better header,
so with stage should i get and why?

Does the engine rev faster with the new clutch? My friend just installed a Centerforce dual-friction clutch in his '91 nissan sentra (1.6L) and it revs WAY faster. I mean it slams into the rev limiter.

 

engine's don't go any faster with new clutch. Only if you have a lighter flywheel, your car seem's faster because of rotational mass. Random can spit out these numbers, but it was like removing 200lb's in first gear an less in second etc. So it probably would help with 0-60 and the clutch will help you grab the flywheel better.

 

isn't clutchmasters' clutch the one that has little weights on the pressure plate? i think it's called centerforce or something. anyway, that clutch is a bad idea. when the weights come flying off, like they did in my friends car, well, you get the idea. it did some nasty things to the tranny.
