Default Clutchless shifting

If you’re able to perfect shifting without pushing in the clutch so its smooth, can it still hurt the transmission? I’m sure getting to the point of where you master it would take many many tries and practices which would hurt things, but lets say you spend a lot of time doing it, you can achieve perfectly, and then you put in a new transmission. Would it still hurt things or not?

It wouldn't hurt anything if that was the case.

I doubt that most people could get that perfect though.

I can do it semi well, but it doesn't stop me wincing every time I downshift.
