yeah you can but if you take some time and looks up some things you will notice alot of people have gone to skateboard bearings and many other things that will work better.

Skateboard bearings here. They require ever-so-slight modification to the diameter of the bushing holder, but they work oh-so-good. They provide a nice firm feel.
