Default cable speedo to electronic speedo

hey all, ok I have been researching doing a beta gearbox to go onto my alpha motor... I can get a brand new gearbox but i am fairly sure that it will be a cable speedo. Now if i just remove the cable speedo drive out of the box and put my electric on in will it work? and will it be acurate?

from what ive seen, only elantras had cable speedos the rd tibs had electronic



i was able to put a tib trans into my elantra, so i doubt youll have any issues goin the other way around

I was for awhile using a cable speedo on an 02 elantra trans there for awhile until I swapped it back to eletric, course that means I had to change my gauge cluter to an 03 accent, what a pain that was.
