so its possible to have a 2000 6speed?? that would make it quicker on its own right?

yeah it would be a bit quicker. Cause all the gears are shorter.

i'm using my network of connections to try and find the 6 speed beta1 tranny. ok, i only know one connection, but it made me feel big to say i had a network.

Hyundai lists the gear ratios...seeming to indicate that such a tranny exists.

We need a part number to order it though...and you would end up paying dealer price for it...*ouch* as you would have to order it from your dealer. *ouch again*

Plan on spending $1500 to $2000 if it really does exist.
