Automatic tranny
I just wanted to let everyone know that Auto trannys get a bad rap. I've beaten countless numbers of *sticks* since I've gotten my Tibby. While they're struggling to shift rapidly, my car smoothly shifts through the gears, leaving them in the rear views! I haven't yet done any mods to my car, and I've beaten modded integras, civics, and yes even an avenger. Of course I don't win all the time, but I'll give 'em a run for their money. tongue.gif

Interesting that you posted this as your first post. Anyway, those cars that you were racing were probably all lower models. (i.e. civic dx/ex, integra gs, etc..) They can't compare to a tib because they all have lower horspower ratings. If you were to put your auto tranny tib up against a car with standard transmission and had the same horsepower/torque ratings that the tib has, you would get your butt handed to you. If you were to race your auto tranny tib versus a standard tranny tib, you would also lose because it's a proven fact from dyno testing that the standards are a bit quicker. However, there things you can do to make an auto super quick, but stock versus stock, and with cars that have comparable HP/torque ratings, the standard will always win.
BTW..moving to the engine forum.....
