anyone know how much LC trany cant take
 

1.5 and 1.6 Transmissions should be same but if different am intersted in 1.6
hwo much power can it ttake and still be in safe range....i would hate to upgrade to Tib tranny since iw ant to accomplish my goal(refere below) with ALL Accent major parts?

Edit: i want to try get in mid 6's 0-60 with my 1.6 DOHC with Turbo , i am not sure how much PIS i will need to run and what WHP to get. and also what i will need to upgrade besides injectors,f-pump,poistons/rods,ignition system...so if you have any suggestions or coments i would love to hear them

I would assume the 5spd would be plenty strong as the TIb 5spd.


As for knowing. Not sure. But if you break one. Tib trannys are rather cheap smile.gif


I know thw 1.6L auto has taking 160hp abuse. So thats pretty good.
