Any solution to Weak 5th gear in Transmission?

The feeze treatments align the crystals so that sructure is stronger as a whole. The reason the metal becomes more brittle, is that the crystals which are now aligned, will cleave along the crystal bonds. Diamonds have a perfect crystal structure, so they are extremely hard and strong,but they are brittle and when they break, you usually do not see a little tear start on one side, they cleave off. Thats what happens to cryro treated metal, the metal becomes harder, and hence stronger, but when the beaking point is reached, the metal cleaves off instead of becomeing deformed. The metal is less maliable, because it is harder.

the reason why I'm asking this is for the fact that I dont want to blow out my tranny for raising the boost in my car too high
