97 tiburon tranny

Default 97 tiburon tranny

I just put a new transmission in my 97 tib adout this time last year drove it for a week it started shifting funny. i had a reluctor ring break so i let it sit down for a while know i have it back running and it still shifting funny plus i got a code p0733 which according to hyundai means i need new pulse generators. well i just replaced those and check my fluid which is ok. but im still having the same problem. can someone give me some suggestions.......help please. im very mechanically inclined used to be a heavey equipment in the military and worked for mazada as well, but this tranny is beating me i need your help.......

Unless you just HAFTA have an automatic, proceed directly to converting to a manual transmission. +power, +economy, +control, -transmission dying from normal operation.

If replacing them didn't work then try twisting the pins at the connector very slightly. It will create better contact between male and female pins. If it still doesn't work then the problem is further down the harness leading to the ECU. There is really no other reason why they shouldn't work.
