I was looking through a Hayins repair manual and I saw a switch on the manual trany called a 5th gear switch, WHAT DOES IT DO????????? This was on a 1998 HUYNDAI Accent you ca emai;l me if you want or just post answer ronplanes@cs.com

 

maybe you could scan the page you're talking about so we can actually see the switch dunno

 

I dug through HMA and I can't find a reference to it.

 

I have seen that referenced before.

I can't find any reference to it in www.hmaservice.com regular or pro. I looked in electrial diagrams, tranny diagrams, ECU diagrams...Nuthin.

 

I seen it referred to in my Chiltons manual.


I still have no clue what it is or does.
