Default 300hp Accent Tranny problems...

Hello all,

This is my first post... yay!

Ok I own a 300hp Australian LC2 Accent, however the standard Alpha gearbox just dont stand up to the plate as one would say... What modifications can I do to make the gearbox stronger and able to handle the power. The last box lasted 1400KMS. Some say I should change to the beta box... what needs to be done for this to work. Any help is greatly appriciated.

Cheers Ryan

you'll have to move the tranny mount a bit if you want to keep the engine at the same spot in the engine bay. then you'll have to fid or get your axles modified to have the right lenght
