Default 2nd gear grind?

I have a 01 Tiburon, my transmission is grinding when I shift into 2nd gear at higher rpms (4500-5500). What is the problem? What is actually the prime shift points, isnt around 5500-5800rpms?

How many miles do you have on the car/clutch? And do you always shift at that RPM? Is it the stock clutch or an aftermarket one?

Unfortunately I still have the stock clutch, I normally dont shift at those rpm's, only when needed. I have 44,000 miles on the car

Grinding on a HIGH RPM shift from 1-2nd? Thats normal bro!

All the BETA M/T do it.

I think Random said bleeding the clutch pedal help.

yup mine's done that since the second week i had it (2k1). I have just under 15k on it right now. I did change to Redline MT90 fluid, and that kept the grinds away for about a month...but now its back to the grind. When I change the fluid it was NASTY looking too...so much was suspended in the old fluid, I'm not sure there is any gear left...hehehe.

3rd gear grind? Tranny rebuild with the new syncronizers.
