you have driven a few brand new 6spd elantras?
Drive a new sonata and shift at high rpm and it does this cut throttle annoying crap to protect the transmission thing. Wont buy something that does that.

Yes, 2011 Elantra's and Sonata's. The gas pedal is electronic so you can't flat shift it. Throttle will always close on shift.
