03 tranny 97 tranny

can i take a automatic transmission out of a 03 tiburon and put it in a 97 tiburon thanks need to know asap

No you can't. Different oil pans and different selector arms IIRC. There was a thread about this not too long ago, just search for 'beta II transmission swap'.

Not only physically but electrically. Controls changed through the years, and computers, probably and wiring harnesses.
