Any boosted betas still using a Civic radiator?

Gathering parts for my turbo build and I recall a lot of people back in the day using the half core Civic rad instead of the Tib stock or koyo. Anyone still running one of these to attest it battle proven? Does it really cool reliably putting down decent power (300+)? Any specific brands recommended that tend to be tuner friendly?
seems the main reason why a half size radiator is probably better is because of reduced chance of heat contamination, the turbo can reach nearly 4 digit temperatures thus killing the radiators purpose of shedding heat,
a turbo jacket and exhaust wrap would help to reduce excess heat, and as far as going with what to run it on, straight water would shed heat better but has a weaker boilng point, 50/50 coolant and water will be fine but wont shed heat as well as water but has a higher boiling point, redline water wetter would also be good idea of "insurance"
personally, a blend of 70% water, 30% glycol coolant and a bottle of water wetter is probably best for a street driven boosted motor..
if you're idling at traffic lights or stop and go traffic, stick with the glycol premixed coolant and check the radiator cap cause pressure is what controls boiling.

When I fill an engine after a complete (as possible) flush and drain I fill with a 70/30 mix. But there will still be distilled water from the flush in the motor. So it comes out around 50/50.
The pressure cap is very important. I don't know what stock is but 19 lbs is a good high pressure cap.
I've not seen the watter wetter stuff do any good unless it is straight water.

I plan jacket the snail and wrap the manifold for sure. In fact going to talk to a tuner today about getting a nice top mount made along with a couple of other things. I am keepng the 70/30 mixture in my list of to-do's.

I hope no one has wasted that much money on that radiator.. HAHA.. the dual core should more than suffice.. but I could get a tri-core much cheaper.
not to mention, I could get it with the fan and shroud included, for around 140$ less OR MORE than just that radiator..

Yeah, that msrp is a bit on the insane side. Found that exact one locally for $200 but this other number you quote sounds a bit more appealing. Also have that FPR kit and oil cooler on my shopping list. Any info you can give me on this rad? I don't see it on your site.
most of the stuff I can get will not be found on my site. I hardly get any traffic their anymore and listing the hundreds or parts would take forever.
The specs on it are a 3 core (2.25") wide based off the honda half core radiator. comes with a steel shroud that seals to radiator and a high flowing 12" fan.. I don't have official pricing yet as I just found out about it but should be under 250$ shipped for the whole package.

Also, airflow through your rad is very important. The ducting in front of it, your grill louvres, the fan shroud, your splash guards and the air flow through your engine bay will make as much of a difference to cooling as spending $150 odd dollars on a shiny new radiator.

Funny, i just got done doin a bit of research on the 92-00 civic half radiator. Looking at the all aluminum dual core model and it lookks like it will fit my beta swapped accent with very little modification. My current half radiator is not up to the job of keeping things cool in the summer time when running the a/c on the freeway. So with that said I am looking for a good legit radiator, the $70 dollar ebay versions are tempting but hey its ebay, should i be concerned with these?
