So I'm thinking about getting a set of 4 points and installing them in the Tib over the winter. I have my back seat in still, but not sure if I want to take it out. A harness bar is alot of work to put in on our cars, so not sure what the best way to install the harnesses would be. Anyone have any ideas and are there any DIY's out there for this?

Looking at these:

The price is right anyway. A bar or cage is the only way to go, a lot of work or no. A decent fab shop should be able to make a bar with rearward braces for not too much $$ locally. Cost goes up but ease of install does too, when you make a bar in bolt-together sections.

I've been wanting a harness bar forever. I get Megan Racing belts pretty cheap, and I have 3 of em at home new in the boxes. I could ship em to you for both seats for 60 shipped if you want. They're black and red. Want pics?

Eitherway, I want to see what you end up doing with the harness bar problem. I've hated having the belts just go diagonal down, instead of straight back, then straight down. I dig being held in like a baby in a car seat though, lol, funny as that sounds.

Yeah...definitely shoot me pics, or post them up here or on Hyundai Aftermarket.

I have a B-pillar bar (with a center camera mount) that a friend gave to me, but because of how our stock seat belts are, with the sliders...I dont see an easy way to install it. It looks very similiar to this one:

I'm sure if I cut up the plastic housing, I could probably make it work...but I dont really want to do that. I also know that you can attach the harnesses to the back seat belt bolts. That doesnt exactly look very professional either. So I'm not sure yet what to do, or how to go about putting the harnesses in safely.

Here's the pics. Perfect place for the bars is behind the sliders for the belts.

^ Yikes...spinal compression FTL!

You should really think about adding a bar bro. I'd hate to see what those 4 points would do to your spinal cord if you ever got into an accident.
